Abstract: | This study aimed to determine the effect of supplementation probiotics, digestive enzymes and synthesis of them into laying hens diet on egg quality traits. The field experiment lasted 74 days, including the duration of adaptation with 144 laying hens. Hens in the first treatment were fed on a standard layer diet (control), while the second third treatment on a standard layer diet with an addition of 0.5 and 0.75 g/ kg probiotic digestive enzymes in the treatment fed on standard layer diet. The fourth consists of standard diet with 0.5 g/ kg probiotic and 0.75 g/ kg digestive enzymes. The results showed an improvement in the quality characteristics of eggs produced from fed chickens for each of supplementation treatments significant increase in weight of eggs and shell and albumin. The probiotic treatment, synthesis treatment of probiotics and digestive enzymes led to significant improvement in shell thickness and yolk index. This concludes that the supplementation of the probiotic or digestive enzymes has improved the quality of the eggs produced. © 2021 Ecological Society of India. All rights reserved. |
