Abstract: The present work deals with the study of thermodynamic modeling of solubility of C. I. disperse orange 30 (O30) dye in supercritical CO2 using Peng-Robenson equation of state (PR-EOS). The sensitivity of critical properties in the calculations was also studied. The results of model showed good agreement with the experimental data of the system taken and the study proved that the choice of the technique to calculate thermodynamic properties is very important for obtaining good results in the phase equilibrium calculations.
