Abstract: The current research aims to (build a proposed guidance program using the cognitive restructuring method to reduce value conflict among university students). The literature and previous studies dealing with value conflict were reviewed. To achieve the research objective, the researchers prepared a value conflict scale consisting of (29) paragraphs. After verifying the psychometric properties of the scale, the researchers built a guidance program based on the cognitive restructuring method of (Meckenbaum). It was applied to the guidance group in (12) sessions, at a rate of two sessions per week, with a session duration of (60) minutes. The data were processed using the (SPSS) program and a number of statistical methods. Based on the results, the study came out with a number of conclusions, recommendations and proposals
