Abstract: Field experiment was Conducted during spring growing season 2015 in the vast / hand Hibhib / area of Diyala province to study the response of some genotypes of potatoes Emma, Loane and Rivira to four concentrations of colchicines (0, 25, 50 and 75) mg l-1 and time of soaking (one-hour and two hours) to bring out genetic variations and its impact on yield. This study was implemented by using (RCBD) design with three replications. Studied characteristics was a number of marketable tubers, average of tuber weight, the weight of the largest tuber, marketable yield and total marketable yield. The averages of the traits were studied according to Duncan test and the level of probability of 0.05. The study showed superiority genotype Emma as a number of marketable tubers, while genotype Loane exceeded in marketable and total yield, while Rivira exceeded in the average weight of the tuber and weight of the largest tuber. The results also showed superiority of colchicine concentration at 50 mg l-1 in the number of marketable tubers, the average weight of tuber and marketable yield, while plants treatment of colchicine concentration at 75 mg l-1 increased weight of largest tuber. It was not influence for tuber soaking on yield. The overlap between the genotype and the concentration of colchicine and duration of tubers soaking influenced morally in most of the qualities and genotype Emma was superior of tubers number. Colchicine concentration at 50 mg l-1 for one hour in the increased number of marketable tubers, and genotype Rivira plants soaking in colchicine 75 mg l-1 for an hour in average of tuber weight, the weight of the largest tuber. There was superiority of soaking Loane tubers in colchicine concentration at 50 mg l-1 for one hour in plant marketable yield and total yield.
